How to Install Windows 8 Final in Virtual Environment?

Windows 8 is already on market. Have you switched your Windows OS to it? If you are on the fence about this new operating system, why not evaluate it now through its free version? Microsoft provides Windows 8 Enterprise 90-day evaluation for developers to build and test Windows 8 apps on the final version of Windows 8. If you are interested in Windows 8, you can also try it out.

Things you’ll need:
1. Windows 8 final evaluation version
The Windows 8 evaluation version comes in the 32-bit or 64-bit version with the downloads  in the form of ISO images. Each version supports Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), English, English (UK), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil), and Spanish.

2. VirtualBox
VirtualBox is a cross-platform Virtualization Software for x86-based systems. It supports a number of guest operating systems, including versions and derivations of Windows, Linux, BSD, OS/2, Solaris and others. Newly-released Windows 8 is also supported.

How to install Windows 8 in virtual in virtual environment?
Step 1. Download Windows 8 ISO images from MSDN Evaluation Center.
Step 2. Download and install VirtualBox in your computer. Once installed, launch VirtualBox and click New and follow the coming wizard to create a New Virtual Machine for Windows 8.
Step 3. Once the Virtual machine is ready, go to Settings-> System from left sidebar and check the following settings:
* Enable IO APIC is checked in Motherboard tab
* Enable PAE/NX is checked in Processor bar
* Enable VT-x/AMD-V and Enable Nested Paging are checked in the Acceleration tab.
Step 4. Go to Storage from the left sidebar -> Empty under IDE Controller -> CD icon next to CD/DVD Drive selection box -> Choose a virtual CD/DVD disk file to import the Windows 8 ISO image file you downloaded into this virtual machine, and then click OK.

Step 5.You will now be back on the main interface. Click Start button and the following screen will appear.
Step 6. Select the Windows 8 language you want to install -> click the Install now button -> accept License agreement -> select the type of installation you want -> select the hard drive disk you want to install Windows 8. Then Windows installing will begin.
Step 7. After loading files, you can pick a color you like and give your PC a name.

Step 8. Select to use express settings or customize settings.

Step 9.Type an email address as a Microsoft account to sign into Windows 8.

Step 10. Type the email password of your Microsoft account, and then add security information and Windows will create the Microsoft for you.

Step 11. Now Windows 8 is installed. The next time you run Windows 8 virtual machine inside VirtualBox, it will boot straight to the OS.
